Lake Erie Gravel Pit Hearing May 8

May 7, 2024

Let’s STAND UP in person and with written comments to oppose the latest attempt to expand this gravel pit. Where is the risk assessment? Recent water studies submitted by the applicant do not adequately explain where the water in Dodson Canyon originates. Where is the bedrock referred to in the applicant’s report? There is no evidence of bedrock causing the water to flow north. As a community we do not support granting the permit because of the risk to neighboring homes, roads and utilities has not be analyzed. The permit should be denied.
